We just moved in down the road from out of state. The employees at Schaller & Weber are some of the most warm, welcoming, and generous professionals we’ve met! Matt was generous with his time and samples, giving us lots of neighborhood recommendations. Every cheese and meat, ribs, fried chicken, ham we’ve had from this spot is exceptional. It’s by far our favorite place on the block!
German Deli. Me and my husband always go here when we’re in the neighborhood. They have everything you need, sausages, fine cuts, cheese, beer and anything German you can’t find in a normal grocery store of high quality (except for met - if this changes this store will be top!!!).
Drool!!! So amazing, excellent service every time. We actually make it a top priority to grab lunch and go to the park whenever we're in the city.
I found the staff very willing to help at this authentic market full of Germany goodies. Great selection of sausages, meats, German beers, and candies. Prices reasonable for a specialty market.
THE best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life, But it’s a German market. Makes no sense, but I’m not going to argue with the fried chicken gods. I get their bratwursts and pretzel rolls twice a month and they are the best ever. Amazing smoked turkey, Bavarian hams, and the reddest ground beef I’ve ever seen. I walk from Columbus Avenue just to experience this amazing shop.
Everyone here is amazing and the food is fantastic. All of the staff are efficient and caring. Down to earth people, the manager is so nice and friendly too! My favorite is their Black Forest ham, couldn’t live without it! My boyfriend and I live their pork belly, head cheese and breads they have for sale for sandwiches!???? I always tell anyone to go here if they visit from Out of NYC
Staff are really nice. Sweet little German market that sell lots of things from Germany. A must visit plus they have fresh meat and cheese. There's also butchers who are more than happy to assist you.
My girlfriend is from Germany and after we went to that store she had tears of joy in her eyes. So glad we found that place so close from where we live. Can only recommend!
I love German food. This year for my birthday, my wife bought me some sauerkraut & Bavarian style sweet & spicy mustard and a selection of knackwurst, weisswurst, & bratwurst from Schaller & Weber. Everything was amazing. Cant wait to order from them again & try something new
Bomb deli sandwiches and they have seasonal specials which are really good and affordable. If you're around the area definitely worth popping by.
